We believe in the doctrine of the Bible

The Bible is the Word of God. It is made up of 66 books. It is verbally inspired by God. It is inerrant – free from error in doctrine, fact and ethic. It is infallible and the sole and the final authority of all faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16: 2 Peter 20-21; Hebrews 4:12-13; Matthew 5:18)

We believe that there is one true, holy God eternally existing in three co-equal persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit

Each of whom equally posses all the attributes of deity and the characteristics of personality.

(Genesis 1:1, Genesis 1:26: 11:7;, Exodus 3:14; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 13:16-17; Matthew 28:19, john 1:1; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe in the doctrine of Jesus Christ

We believe that He is God. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious suffering, and death through shedding His blood. We believe in His bodily resurrection and His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal and physical return in power and glory. (John 1:1; 14 Matthew 1:18; Galatians 4:4; Luke 1:35; Titus 2:13; 1 John 5:20; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4-16-17; Acts 2:22; John 2:11; 20:30-31)

We believe in the doctrine of the Holy Spirit

He is the third person of the Trinity. He was sent into the world by the Father and the Son to apply to mankind the saving work of Christ, to indwell and empower believers and to help them live holy lives. (Matthew 28:19: 1 Corinthians 2:10-11; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; John 15:26; 16:13-14; Acts 5:3,9)

We believe in the doctrine of salvation

The central purpose of God’s revelation in Scripture is to call everyone into fellowship with Himself. Because of man’s sin, fellowship with God was broken. Man on his own could never repair this broken relationship. We need a Savior. The salvation of mankind is totally work of God’s free grace, not the result, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness, and must be personally appropriated by repentance and faith. (Psalm 38:18; Romans 3:23; 5:5-8; 6:23; 1 John 1:9; John 3:16-17; Ephesians 2:8-9; I Peter 1:23; Titus 3:4-6)

We believe in the doctrine of Christian living

A genuine salvation experience through Jesus Christ is accompanied by a life of holiness and obedience attained by believers as they submit to the Holy Spirit. True salvation results in a changed life from the inside out. We believe that all unrighteousness is sin. We believe that God is holy lives. We believe that God hates sin and must judge it. We believe that sin is an abomination to God which includes sins of the heart and thought life, sin of commission, sins of omission and all sexual sins: fornication, adultery, homosexuality, and bisexuality. (1John 2:3-6; 1 John 3:22-24; John 3:17; Luke 6:46-49; 2 Timothy 2:19; Romans 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:11-12)

We believe in the doctrine of the church

The Bible teaches that all believers become members of His body, the church. The Bible commands that believers (Saints) gather together to devote themselves to worship, prayer the teaching of the Word, and the observance of the ordinances. We are also commanded to serve in the church and to use our spiritual gifts to build one another up. (Hebrews 10:25; Romans 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:11-12)

We believe in the doctrine of the family

God has clear direction for the family in His Word. We learn and obey God’s Word as it pertains to the family. We believe that marriage is a divine institution between a man and a woman that originated with God. Marriage is a covenant relationship between God a man and a woman. God prescribed the ground rules for marriage, officiated at the first wedding ceremony and directed its perpetuation. (Genesis 2:18-25; Malachi 2:14; Ephesians 5:21-33; 6:1-4; Colossians 3:18-21; 1 Peter 3:1-7)

We believe in the doctrine of the spirit world

There are angels. Angels are a supernatural order of heavenly beings separately created by God before the creation of the world. The work of angels is varied. The holy angels stand in God’s presence and worship Him. They also minister to the saints according to the will of God. There are demons. Demons are evil, fallen angels. Satan is the prince of fallen angels. They oppose the good and work to cause evil in the world, they oppose the work of God, tempt man to sin, and spread false doctrine. However, their freedom to do evil and to tempt and test man is subject to the permissive will of God. One day they will be punished by God and consigned to the lake of fire and brimstone. (Matthew 18:10; Mark 8:38; 12:32; Hebrews 1:13-14; 12:22; Psalm 103:20; 104:4; 2 Peter 2:11; Matthew 8-28-34; 17:15-18; 25:41; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 6; Daniel 10:10-14; 1 Timothy 19:20; 20:10; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9; 2 Thessalonians 2:Matthew 24:21-22; Revelation 21:22)

We believe in the doctrine of the future

God has a great plan for the future. There is life after death. We believe in heaven and hell. We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ and the rapture of the church. We believe in the Judgment Seat of Christ for believers and the Great White throne Judgment for unbelievers. We believe in the Great Tribulation Period and the Millennium reign of Jesus Christ. We believe that those who are saved will spend eternity with God and Jesus Christ and those who are lost will spend eternity separated from God in the lake of fire in torment. (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:50-57;j Revelation 20:1-4; 11:15; Romans 14:10; Revelation 19:20; 20:10; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9; 2 Thessalonians 2; Matthew 42:21-22; Revelation 21:22)
